Last updated: May 20, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MorePathways®, a website operated by BridgeYear, a Texas 501(c)(3) nonprofit. By using MorePathways, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. Questions? Email support@morepathways.org.

Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using MorePathways, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are 16 or 17, by using the site you confirm a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms and consents to your use of MorePathways. A parent or guardian may contact us at any time to act on your behalf.

Eligibility

MorePathways is for users 16 and older. By using the site, you confirm you are at least 16 years old. We do not knowingly allow users under 16 to create accounts, and consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) we do not knowingly allow users under 13.

Your account

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when signing in or updating your profile
  • Keep your sign-in method (phone number or email) secure and not share access with others
  • Take responsibility for activity that happens under your account
  • Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. After deletion, some information may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy (for example, to meet legal, audit, or backup requirements).

Acceptable use

When using MorePathways, you agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  • Harass, threaten, or harm BridgeYear staff, contractors, partners, or other users
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the site or copy its content, except where expressly permitted (such as standard search engine indexing)
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the site
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, other users’ accounts, or our systems
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the site or its underlying infrastructure
  • Use the site to transmit malware, spam, or unlawful content

Your license to use the site

Subject to these Terms, BridgeYear grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use MorePathways for personal, non-commercial career and training exploration. This license ends automatically if you violate these Terms.

Intellectual property

MorePathways® is a registered trademark of BridgeYear. The site, including its design, code, content, and branding, is owned by BridgeYear or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the site or its content without our written permission, except as expressly allowed by these Terms or applicable law.

Information about training programs, schools, and careers is sourced from BridgeYear’s internal records and public information. We do our best to keep it accurate but make no guarantees (see disclaimers below).

Third-party programs and links

MorePathways displays information about third-party training programs, schools, employers, and other organizations, and may link to their websites. We do not control and are not responsible for these third parties or their websites, content, or practices. Listing or linking to a program is not an endorsement.

Always verify program details — including cost, requirements, schedule, and enrollment status — directly with the school or program before making decisions.

Not professional advice

MorePathways provides information to help you explore careers and training options. It does not provide career counseling, educational counseling, financial advice, legal advice, or any other professional advice. Decisions about education, training, employment, and finances are your responsibility. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

SMS messages

If you choose to sign in by phone number, we send you one-time sign-in codes by SMS.

  • What you’ll receive: one-time sign-in codes, sent only when you request them
  • Frequency: messages are sent only in response to your sign-in attempts
  • Rates: message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier plan
  • Stop messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out. After you opt out, you will not be able to sign in by phone; you can still sign in by email
  • Help: reply HELP to the number from which you received the message, or email support@morepathways.org
  • Carriers: wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

By entering your phone number and requesting a sign-in code, you consent to receive that code by SMS.

Disclaimer of warranties

MorePathways is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BridgeYear disclaims all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that information about programs, careers, schools, or employers is accurate, current, or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BridgeYear and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of MorePathways. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the site is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the limitations above may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using MorePathways and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.

Changes to the service

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may also suspend or discontinue MorePathways, in whole or in part, with or without notice.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects when they were last changed. For material changes, we will notify you by email or with an in-app notice before the changes take effect. Continued use of MorePathways after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or MorePathways will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Other terms

Severability: if any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.

Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and BridgeYear about MorePathways and replace any prior agreements on the same subject.

No waiver: our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets.
