Connects opportunity youth with a high school diploma or GED to job training and career readiness resources that will lead to stable, sufficient employment in the healthcare field. Program reps will walk applicants through the necessary steps to completing enrollment to medical training program. Assistance in applying to/enrolling for job training through the training program includes orientation, career readiness workshops, and study sessions to help you get ready for your future. Ascend also provides educational resources on issues of health/wellness, family planning, financial literacy, and relationship management.
